Learner Profiles
This lesson targets ePIC collaboration members — students, postdocs,
and researchers — who need to work with the detector geometry: reading
the compact XML description, viewing the geometry, and modifying or
adding subsystems by editing or writing DD4hep detector plugins.
Learners are assumed to have a working eic-shell and basic
familiarity with the Unix shell, Git, and C++; no prior experience with
DD4hep or ROOT geometry is required.
