Learner Profiles

This lesson targets students, postdocs, and researchers in the ePIC collaboration who need to work with the reconstructed inclusive kinematics (x, y, Q2, W) in the simulation output. Learners are expected to have a working eic-shell and some familiarity with CERN ROOT and/or Python/RDataFrames, but no prior experience with the ePIC data model (edm4eic/podio) or the different kinematic reconstruction methods is assumed.
